In 1334 Thomas Bruce organized an uprising against English Rule. As a reward he was granted the domaine of Clackmannan. Clackmannan Tower is a five-storey tower house, situated at the summit of King's Seat Hill in Clackmannan, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It was built in the 14th century by King David II of Scotland and sold to his cousin Robert Bruce in 1359. |
